Obituary for Aime Pelletier

Pelletier, Aime - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of Aimé Pelletier at the Temiskaming Lodge in Haileybury on June 22, 2020 at the age of 78 years.

Aimé is survived by his loving wife Diane (Gauthier) of 52 years and his children: Michèle, Martin (Karen), Daniel (Joanne) and Lianne (Alexandre). He is also survived by his brothers Marc (Roxan) and Réjean (Claudette), as well as by his sister Marielle Scott. He will be fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren: Joshua, Sébastien, Aimée, Stéphane, Magali and Katia. He was predeceased by his father Norbert (1973), his mother Marguerite (2011) and his brothers Guy (2005) and Claude (2003).

He worked for Northern Telephone for 32 years and was actively involved in the community as Commanding Officer of both 2344 Army Cadet Corps and 536 Air Cadet Squadron. He was also founding Commanding Officer of 355 Air Cadet Squadron in Englehart. Aimé also enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Temiskaming Lodge for going above and beyond in caring for Aimé during the final stages of his life in these unprecedented and challenging times.

In keeping with Aimé’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Lakeview crematorium, Haileybury. A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
