It is with sadness that the family announces the death of Mr. André Grisé at the age of 78. He was born on October 8, 1943 and is the son of the late Eugène and Gabrielle (Rivard) Grisé. André passed away on April 30, 2022 at the Tri-Town Extendicare residence in Haileybury. For several years, he had been suffering from Parkinsons disease and in the end passed away from Covid.
André is survived by his wife Lucille (Daviau) Grisé, his children Claude (Sandy) Grisé, Marc (Fani) Grisé and Linda (Christopher) Seabrook, his 8 grandchildren; Alexandre, Emily, Madeline, Lindsey, Ashley, Joey, Niva and Cruz. André also leaves to mourn his mother-in-law Éva (Brûlé) Daviau, his sisters Alice (late Jack) Loranger, Gisèle (late Jean-Guy) Loranger, Colette (Yvon) Gauthier, his brothers-in-law Georges (Maureen) Daviau, Marcel (Ronald) Daviau, François (Françoise) Daviau , Claude (Nicole) Daviau as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. André was predeceased by his brother the late Réal (Denise Loranger) Grisé and the late Jean-Louis (Suzanne Poirier) Grisé.
André and Lucille raised their family in Welland, Ontario where they lived for 42 years. After 32 years working at Hayes Dana (building frames for Ford trucks), they retired in 2003 and moved to New Liskeard in 2006. He loved to travel and enjoyed many short trips from Welland to Earlton with his family. He enjoyed many great trips to Florida and camping at Club Comlombien at their trailer. André was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 40 years. He lived a full life.

Cremation has taken place at Lakeview-Haileybury Crematorium. The family will welcome visitors at St-Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10 am and the service will follow at 11 am.
