Obituary for Arwilda Pearl Baumhour (Veley)
Baumhour, Arwilda Pearl [Veley] - Pearl Baumhour, age 89, of Haileybury, passed away peacefully Monday, July 20, 2020 at Temiskaming Hospital.
She was born to Jerome and Kate Veley July 31, 1930 at Hilliard Twp. and was the second youngest of eight children, Edna, Muriel, Esther, William, Mary, Kathleen and Violet. Pearl married her pen pal Archie Baumhour and together they raised five children, Janet O’Brien (Francis), Bruce (Dawn), Douglas (Michi), Merle (Donna) and Donna Beauchamps (Ron).
Missing her terribly are her children Bruce (Dawn), Donna (Ron); daughter-in-law Donna Baumhour; grandchildren Wendy (Mike), Wayne (Karyn), Tanya (Lenny), Matthew, Ken, Victor, Nicholas (Meagan), Shannon, Jennifer (Jayson), Aime (Jeff), Scott; great-grandchildren Kyle, Kara, Ian, Danielle, Dillon (Kirstin), Brock, Chloe, Ava, Ben, Adam, Connor, Jaycob and great-great-grandson Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and their spouses, her husband Archie, daughter Janet and her husband Francis, sons Douglas and Merle, grandchildren Jamie, Alissa, Amanda and great-grandchildren Matthew and Jessa.
Pearl lived what she believed. Above all she loved her LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, her family and was so full of love for everyone. She will lovingly be remembered by family and friends for her quiet, gentle nature, and wonderful sense of humour.
The family of the late Pearl Baumhour will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 6:30 until 9:00 pm. IN KEEPING WITH THE COVID-19 PROVINCIAL REGULATIONS, A TOTAL NUMBER OF 5 PEOPLE WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT THE SAME TIME FOR A 15-MINUTE PERIOD. FUNERAL HOME STAFF MUST RECORD YOUR NAMES AND TIME THEREFORE PLEASE CALL THE FUNERAL HOME (705-672-3122) TO RESERVE YOUR ALLOTTED TIME. WE WILL INFORM YOU AS TO THE NEW VISITATION PROCEDURE.
