1979-2022
A beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Barbara Gendron-Miller left this world after a brief battle with cancer, at 43, on December 25, 2022. Born in Haileybury, July 18, 1979 to Brian and Rose-Anne Gendron, Barbara grew up in New Liskeard, just north of North Bay, where she attended St-Michel Elementary School and Ecole Secondaire Ste-Marie High School before becoming a mother in the year 2000.
Barbara was a lover of the arts and crafts and enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She was funny, outgoing and extremely giving, but she was also very stubborn and feisty! She was fiercely committed to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious laugh, and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
When you think of Barbara, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
She leaves behind her four precious daughters; Breanna along with her partner Lenard, Alliyah, Kiara and Kamiah; husband David, parents, brother Bryan, sister in-law Erin Gendron along with their four children; Philippe, Alexandre, Joshua and Joacob, grandfather André Breault, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 3, 2022 from 9:30-11:00. A celebration of life will follow at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home [483 Broadway Street in Haileybury], Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00. Monsignor Pat Lafleur officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to Barb’s wish for her girls .
