A precious friendship that began in 1964 and sustained over many years of shared tears and much laughter. Our lives and circumstances changed as did the countries we lived in and our children grew. The farm, the wide open spaces of Lincolnshire and the warmth of Bridget's hospitality embraced us all. A wonderful friend never to be forgotten. Sincere and deepest sympathy to you all.

Such sad news to hear this. Bridget was a large part of our lives when I was young, and I have so many rich and amazing memories to cherish from life back on farm, living with her and Lucy & James. She continued to be Great Aunt Bridget for my son Tomas for his 15 years with wonderful letters passed to and fro, which he really loves and keeps. Bridget will be very much missed by us here in England. My condolences to the huge extended family she has been so lucky to have in Canada. Deepest sympathies to you all.

With deepest sympathies. Bridget was a good friend to my mom and very generous with us when my mom passed on. She was also quite a character. She will be missed by many who knew her. Best wishes during this very difficult time. John McKay-Clements and Lesley Young
