With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carole Lyons (nee Gagne) of Haileybury at the age of 66. Carole passed away peacefully after a long battle with C.O.P.D on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Temiskaming Hospital with her loving sister and caregiver Diane by her side. Carole will be remembered as a spicy young lady who would let anyone know what was happening and what was going to happen. Carol was predeceased by her first husband Bill Prentice and her second husband Lawrence Lyons. She has now gone on to a better place to rejoin her sweetheart and best friend Allen Browne who passed away two years ago. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Jeanette Gagne and her siblings Aurele, Leatrice and Rita. She is survived by her son Christopher and her siblings John (Liette) Gagne, Alice (Rosaire) Forget, Susan (the late Stan) Willard and Diane (Keith) Miller. Also left to mourn are her dear friends Shirley Gilson and Robert Salter, her extended Browne family of Cobalt and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks for all your help in the past few months. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
