Claire Blanche Beaubien (nee Ouellette) of New Liskeard died peacefully at the Temiskaming District Hospital on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Jack Howe. Beloved mother of Lise (Yves) Rioux. Survived by her grandchildren Adèle and Isabelle. Predeceased by her siblings Linda (Paul) Allard, Fern Stoughton, Blanche Bernatchez, Jeannine (Ray) Nelson, Dorothee Bigras, Alex (Jeanne) Ouellette, William (Emérentienne) Ouellette, Royal (Laura) Ouellette and Gabrielle Levesque. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Colleen Davies and the staff at Temiskaming District Hospital for the excellent care they provided to Claire. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. Friends will be received at Buffam Leveille Funeral Home 705-672-3122 on Tuesday, September 27th from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Liskeard on Wednesday, September 28th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Cobalt Catholic Cemetery.
