Peacefully with her family by her side at the Temiskaming District Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, Claudette Conti of New Liskeard passed away at the age of 83 years. Loving wife of the late Alphonse Conti (2006). Beloved mother of Victor (Kim) Conti of Brownsville, Tony (Lesley) Conti of Haileybury, the late Michael Conti and the late Richard [Laurie] Conti. Survived by her grandchildren Andrew, Amy, Isabella, Gabriella, Graham, Danielle and Jayda. Dear sister of Roddy Gauvreau, Ronald Gauvreau, Ray Gauvreau, Marjorie Taylor, Annette Dodds, Bea Maloney, Carmen Gauvreau, Corinne Bouley, Nelson Gauvreau and Gino Gauvreau. Predeceased by her parents John Gauvreau and Yvonne Lemire; her siblings: Jerome Gauvreau, Hector Collins, Leona Barton, Elmer Gauvreau, Pauline Kudlets, Vernon Gauvreau and Denis Gauvreau. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 705-672-3122. A Celebration of Claudette’s Life will be held at a later date.
