With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Mrs Clotilde Gamache at the age of 87 years. Mrs Gamache passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
Born at St-Eugène-de-Guigues May 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Lévesque and the late Jeannette Jacques. Mrs Gamache had worked at Misericordia Hospital in Haileybury and Temiskaming Hospital until her retirement. Beloved wife of the late George Gamache. Loving mother to: Francine [Keith], Yves [Joanne], Jacques [Barb], Danielle, Josée [Darry], Mario [Jennifer]. Cherished grandmother of Natalie [Richard], Jacob [Marie-France], Jeremy [Megan], Jessica [Patrick], MacKenzie, Alexa, Ryan [Sanya], Bryce [Courtney]; great-grandmother of Victoria, Brayden, Tristan, Marie-Lou, Lincoln, Damon and Theo. Also left to mourn are her siblings: Ursule, Claire, Bibianne, Diane, Marcel and Fleurette. Predeceased by her twin daughters at birth, daughter Doris and her siblings: Jeannot and Desneiges. Mrs Gamache is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed.

The Gamache family will welcome friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A private family service will take place. Inurnment to follow at the Haileybury Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Arthritis Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
