Obituary for Conrad Rivard
Rivard, Conrad - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Conrad Rivard of Earlton at the age of 95. Conrad passed away peacefully with is loving daughter by his side on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Kirkland Lake Hospital. He is predeceased by his wife Rita Alarie and grandson Pierre Rivard.
Conrad was born in Earlton June 7, 1925 to the late Donat Rivard and Célima Léveillé. He lived in Earlton and worked at Rexwood Ltd. as a certified millwright/welder where he retired. Conrad was a very creative person with multiple talents. He was a handyman, he would work on anything. He loved traveling, camping and having family over. He also had a big heart, loved to help people. He loved to have the grand kids around him. Mr Rivard had been a resident of the Teck Pioneer Residence in Kirkland Lake for the last few years.
He is survived by his children Monique (late Claude), André, Jean-Yves, Thérèse (Mike), Serge (Sheila). He will be fondly remembered by his grand children, Pascal, Simon(Julie), Josée (Kevin), Melissa, Jason (Heather), Jeremy (Sheri), Jonathan (Jessica), Dominic (Vanessa), Amélie (Marc), Tasha (Martin),Cody (Christina). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and by his sisters Rita Milot and Régina Ménard.
Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A private family service will take place.
