Obituary for Danielle Emilia Blanchette
Peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends, Danielle passed away in the comfort of her home in New Liskeard on Friday February 18, 2022 at the age of 59 years.
Danielle was born June 20, 1962 in Val d'Or to the late Robert Blanchette and to the late Cécile Gaboury. She is survived by her sisters Claire (Normand Raiche) of Val d'Or, PQ, Nicole Blanchette of St-Jérôme, PQ, Céline (Johanne Crevier) of Répentigny, PQ, Sylvie (Daniel Gagnon) of Laval, PQ and Lise (Larry Lajeunesse) of Chemainus, BC. Danielle is also survived by her nieces and nephews Geneviève, Olivier, Ariane Julie (Jonathan Desmeules), Alex (Megan), Myles (Madison) and by her great nieces and nephews Gabriel, Jacob, Léa and Charlotte as well as extended family members and her best friend Sandra Gagnon. Danielle is predeceased by her parents, by her son Yan Blanchette, her sister Marie-Jeanne Blanchette and by her brother Jean-Louis Blanchette.
Danielle was a warm and caring person always putting the needs of others before her own. Her presence and her beautiful smile will be sorely missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Cremation has taken place at Lakeview crematorium - Haileybury. There will be no visitation or memorial service. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
