Obituary for Deidre Louise "Dee" Moore
Dee, surrounded by her family, passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on January 30, 2022 at 76 years.
Loving wife of Jack Moore (married for 59 years), mother to Leslie Moore, Laurie (Greg) Beaven, and the late Shelley Moore. Grandmother to Scott and Brian Beaven (Timmins, ON). Sister to Susan Turnbull (Hamilton, ON). Predeceased by her mother Lillian Pommier, step-father Fred Barrett, sister Penny (Gord) Franklin and brother David (Karen) Barrett.
Dee worked at Chartrand’s YIG, Bastien Beverages and Canadian Tire. She loved to read, do puzzles, knit, and go to Bingo. She enjoyed going to the cottage in Shining Tree with her family and fishing.
We would like to thank the PSW’s, Nurses, Dr. Logan and Dr. Davies for the exceptional care they gave Dee, during her nine month stay at the Temiskaming Hospital.
Cremation has taken place at Lakeview crematorium - Haileybury. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Interment of Dee's ashes will take place in the Pioneer cemetery in New Liskeard in the spring of 2022. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Palliative Care Unit of the Temiskaming Hospital.
