Obituary for Emile Ernest Letellier
Emile Ernest Letellier, 93 of Haileybury passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022 with his closest friends by his side.
Emile and his beloved wife Patricia had been married for over 60 years and built a life, a home, and raised a family together in Haileybury.
Emile was a hard worker and his career as a mining superintendent took him to many places, however over his lifetime when close to home he was a carpenter by trade. Through the years, Emile enjoyed the wilderness and sharing his knowledge of fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Affectionately called Pépère by his grandchildren, Emile will be remembered for the warm memories he made with all of them.
Emile was predeceased by his wife Patricia Lucie Letellier and his granddaughter Julia Champagne. Survived by his children Carmen Landry, Norman Letellier (Kim), Michael Letellier and Lise Champagne (Paul). He leaves behind his grandchildren: Eric and Chris Landry, Holly Champagne; great-grandchildren Jason, Charlotte and Oliver Landry.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff for his care during his stay at the Temiskaming Hospital.
