Obituary for Emma Yvette Martin
With heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Mrs Emma Martin. Mrs Martin passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at the age of 66 years.
She was born on December 01, 1955 to the late Real Martin and to the late Therese Morin. Mrs Martin was a seamstress and spent many hours perfecting her trade. She is remembered for the designs and quality of her handmade wedding dresses. She will also be remembered for her big heart always putting the needs of others before her own, whether it be volunteering or working the many hours at her son Matt's business, which she was very proud of. Her greatest joy in life was her family, her children, grandchildren and grand-dogs. She always looked forward to any time spent with them especially when the grandchildren were around. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her presence will be sorely missed by all those whose life she touched.
Mrs Martin is survived by her loving children Nicole Bruce (Randy Jackson), Tamara Golcic (Thomas Casey) and Matthew Golcic (Shanisie Chartrand). She is the cherished grandmother of Eryn Acaster, Logan Acaster, Kaelynn Gauthier and Nicole Jackson. Also surviving are her siblings Monique Martin, Ginette Martin, Donald MartIin, her extended family members and her grand-dogs Blaze, Pogo and Izzy.
A memorial service will be held at Eglise Sacré Coeur, New Liskeard, at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs Martin can be made to Community Cancer Care. Condolences and memories may be left at www.buffamleveille.com
