Obituary for Fay Louise McMullan (Bland)
With deep sadness the family announces the death of Fay McMullan of Haileybury at the age of 63 years following a brave battle with cancer. Fay passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home the morning of Wednesday, March 15, 2023 with her loving husband Bruce by her side.
Fay was a long time Haileybury resident; she was a member of the Haileybury Golf Club executive for many years and also a member of I.O.D.E. Many will remember her as an outdoor enthusiast, for her excellent cooking skills, and her infectious laughter. Fay is also remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother. Her family came first above everything. Fay had a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor, she will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Fay is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Bruce McMullan and by their children Marissa McMullan (Kristin Falovo) and by Tristan (Alicia) McMullan. She is also survived by her mother Beryl Bland, her brother James Bland and her niece, nephew, their children and other extended family members. Fay is predeceased by her father Ronald Bland.
Fay's final care has been entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home [Haileybury]. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Haileybury Golf Club on June 04, 2023 beginning at 1:00pm.
