Obituary for Garnet Alberta
Alberta, Garnet - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the death of Mr Garnet Alberta of Haileybury at the age of 80 years. Mr Alberta passed away on Friday April 24, 2020 at the Temiskaming Hospital.
Born in New Liskeard on August 27, 1939 to the late Arnold Alberta and to the late Eileen Abbott. He is predeceased by his parents and by his siblings Joyce, Howard and Mary Ellen. Garnet is survived by his loving wife Edith Alberta [nee Acley]; his children Betty and her husband John Logan, Michael and his wife Linda Alberta and Frances and her husband Guy Simard. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather; loving brother to Anelda [late Bill] Woods, James [Pat] Albertie, Elwyn [Shirley] Alberta, Elmer [late Pearl] Alberta, Claudette [late Robert] Vigneault, Gerry Bessette and John [Michelle] Knott.
Interment will take place at Rosegrove Cemetery in the Spring of 2020. Memorial contributions to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
