Obituary for Garry Hermiston
Hermiston, Garry - With heavy hearts the family announces that Garry died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at the age of 78.
Garry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bernice (nee Johnston), his daughter Donna (Norman) of New Hazelton B.C and Terry (Michelle) of Lasalle, Ontario. Garry is also survived by his sisters-in-law Joanne Hermiston (late Bruce), Anita Chretien (late Wilfred), Theresa Johnston (late Glen) and brothers-in-law Roy Grant (late Brenda), Allan Keys (late Monica), Roger (Lou) and Melvin (late Paulette). Cherished grandfather of Justin, Mac and Kennedy. Loving brother of Marilyn Nobes (late Robert) and brother Wayne. Garry is predeceased by his parents Noble and Min; his brother Bruce and his grandson Christopher. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Garry was a heart transplant recipient patient and was gifted with 28 years of life for which he was forever grateful. Special thanks to Dr. Neil McKenzie at University Health Sciences Care in London, the doctors and staff at North Bay Regional Health Centre and to Dr. Corneil and his staff.
