Peacefully, at the Temiskaming District Hospital on Thursday May 4, 2023, Mr. Gerald McQuaid passed away at the age of 92. Gerald was predeceased by his cherished wife Shirley (nee Sousy), his daughter Sherry Margaret McQuaid and his parents Oliver & Hannah McQuaid. Beloved father of Larry McQuaid (Sharon MacDuff) of Kingston and Deborah Anne McQuaid of Haileybury. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Justin, Rebecca and Shannon. Gerald will be sadly missed by his sister, Linda Helmer, his brother-in-law Dennis Challice and his sisters-in-law Gwen Grignon and Dot (Tony) Doran. Friends will be received at Haileybury location of Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 705-672-3122, on Thursday, May 11th from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm.
