Sauve, Gertrude Ethel [nee Miller] - With profound sadness the family announces the passing of Mrs Gertrude Sauve, affectionately known as Trudy. She died at the Temiskaming Hospital on Wednesday June 10, 2021 with her loving family by her side at the age of 72 years.

Trudy was born in New Liskeard on September 1, 1948 to the late Samuel Miller and to the late Marjory Armstrong.
Trudy was famous for her world class butter tarts, costumes, amazing sense of humour, holding the high triple record at the local bowling alley and for the endearing slogan "everything's washable at Gramma's".

Trudy is survived by her life partner Jack Perry, her two loving sons Bradley and his wife Solange Sauve and Sammy and his wife Erika Sauve. She is the cherished grandmother of Owen, Kayla, Talon; great-grandmother to Riley and Bailey and loving sister of Aileen O'Gorman, Donald Miller, Glen Miller, Gary and his wife Linda Miller, Keith and his wife Diane Miller, Patricia Miller, Bertha Yandt and brother-in-laws Glen and Bert Perry and their families. Predeceased by siblings Lewie and Beth. Trudy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A more beautiful soul there never was. You could not but feel good in Trudy's presence. I have missed her for many years and now in death her energy is easy access and all about us. Trudy will come to mind with every dragonfly I see.
To Brad, Sam and all of Trudy's loved ones, the blessings she brought you will always remain. Much love and I share in your sorrow.
I'm trying to post a picture but I'm not sure it will work.

Dear Jack, Brad & Sam;
So sorry for your loss. I first met Trudy when I worked with her at Canadian Tire when it was across from the curling rink. Such a lovely lady. Our friendship grew from there. She certainly was famous for her butter tarts as seen from her entries at the New Liskeard Fair. Remember all the wonderful memories. My sympathies to the Miller/Sauve/Perry families.
Sincerely, Barb
