Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Temiskaming District Hospital, James “Ralph” Edes of New Liskeard passed away at the age of 69. Loving partner of Louise Doire. Beloved father of Tanya Edes (Greg Lefebvre), Laurel Edes (Paul Morin), Dylan Edes (Natali Gauthier) and Sarah (Josh) Dean. Survived by his grandchildren Malcolm, Brant, Ashton, Ryan, Sydney, Connor, Alex and Zach. Dear brother of Ruth James, Shirley Smith, Dorothy Marcina, Margaret Maysfield and Dale Carney. Sadly missed by his Chocolate Lab, Hershey. Predeceased by his parents Delmer and Ethel Edes and his grandchildren Justin and Katie. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury.
