Peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Temiskaming District Hospital, Joann Goldy Landry (Doupe) of New Liskeard passed away at the age of 68. Loving wife of the late Romeo Landry (2015) of Matachewan First Nations- AKA Floating Bridge. Survived by and beloved mother of Jason (Samantha) Batisse, Tom (Christine) Batisse, Lee-Ann Batisse, Florence Batisse (Denis Godin), Marvin Batisse and stepmother of Cathy Yandeau and Junior Deslaurier and their families. Survived by grandchildren Jamie Lee, Cassandra, Sky, Anthony, Makobe, Jesse, Amber lee, Melissa, McKayla, Alexis, Arianna, Ashley Faith Lynn, Tyrese, Teasha, Kurt, Damien, Remington, Harley, Harmony, Heavenly, Joshua, Cody, Brittney and great grandchildren, Tianna, Caleb, Carson, Willow, Colby, Miles, Emma and Dennis. Survived by late sisters Ida, sister Margaret and late brothers Henry and Oscar, and nephew Patrick. Forever remembered by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A celebration of Joann’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 2:00 pm from Buffam Leveille Funeral Home in Haileybury 705-672-3122.
