Peacefully with his family by his side at Extendicare Nursing Home in Kirkland Lake, John Lyle Goodwin passed away at the age of 80. Loving husband of the late Theresa Goodwin (nee Fischer). Beloved father of Christine (Gary) Elsey, James (Sharon) Goodwin, Ray (Kim) Goodwin and Jody (Jenny) Goodwin. Survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Survived by his brothers Dr. James (Marilyn) Goodwin and Gerald (Terri) Goodwin and his in-laws Denis (Helen) Fischer, Luella (Jim) Erb and Laurene Mitchell. Sadly missed by his special friends Rudy and Ruth Kauffman. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at a later date.
