Condolence: Cousin John, where have all the years gone? Seems as if it was only yesterday we were roaming the streets of Cobalt. Throwing crab apples at passing vehicles under cover of darkness, collecting iron ore pellets on the train tracks for our sling-shots. Creating elaborate plans to raid Mr. Parcher's garden: going as far as to draw a detailed map showing exactly where all the valuable produce was located. Carrots were high on our list. Finding a “Diamond” ring in a burnt out house and making plans to “fence” it to get some cash. Instead we got scared and threw it in Cobalt lake to get rid of the evidence. Smoking cigarellos outside the pool hall at the age of 12. Catching frogs in the pond at West Cobalt for the frog jumping contest at the Miner's Festival. Walking half way through the Walkathon and then hopping in someones car to complete the majority of the walk, finishing in record time. They were fun years growing up between the ages of 11-14. Thanks for being such a bad influence on me and thanks for the fond memories. Rest in peace John Your Cousin Kevin

Condolence: To the Williams Families: I am so sorry for your loss. I taught John at Cobalt Public for two years and he taught me so much about teaching. He struggled with reading but he persevered and caught on with some one on one work. Great young man - this news has really saddened me. John I talk about you all of the time and will never forget you. You made me a better teacher. rest in Peace.
