How does one express in a politically correct way your emotions about a person who has passed?? Whether a chosen time or a sudden death?? I guess for myself it comes down to what I have experienced..(and I have now experienced both) . I have been told not too be response “I am long past bitter...I am just trying too understand”. However that in itself is hard too explain..there are seven siblings in my family and each one of us are unique and individual in our on right! Yes we may have similarities and reflect each other in some way or fashion...and yet we all have “our opinions “and maybe even “expectations “ of our brothers or sisters.
Having said that our mother just gave us all yet another lesson...despite her limited ability from the get go to nurture ,love unconditionally, and think outside of herself..I am hopeful that she is no longer “fighting her way through life” and that she has finally found what she’s been searching for. Our lesson (and we will each have our own!!) that we take away from this experience that even though she “did not want or request” any of her children be at her side in those last moments...We as a family unit gathered regardless. “We have grown , adapted and had families of our own “ and now we are proving that there is a different way. May we all keep learning from experiences and appreciate what we have and not be longing or mourning for something that never was.
My you finally give up all the turmoil and Rest In Peace.
Goodbye Mother

Many of my memories of your Mom and Dad are from Auntie's farm in Haileybury when I visited with my Mom and Dad or with my Nana and Papa (your Auntie and Uncle). Our condolences to everybody; Don, Helen, Heather, Ken, Darlene, Judy, Tammy, Nick and all of your families. Our thoughts are with you. Love Crystal Ann, Jack, Kristofer-Aiden and Katri.
