Obituary for Laurette Georgianna Roy
On May 1st, Laurette Roy passed away peacefully at the age of 76 at the Temiskaming Hospital from severe pulmonary fibrosis.
Predeceased by her parents Antonio Roy and Jeanne d’Arc (née Archambault) and brother André.
Beloved wife of Gordon Dickinson Jr and mother of Tina Roy-Renaud (Jeff) and Jennifer Dickinson (Brent Marsden).
Loving grandmother of Sarah Marsden (Joseph), Bailee, Emma and Lauren. Great grandchildren Ella, Bella and Paislee.
Laurette will be sadly missed by her siblings Fernand (Gayle), Rejean (Barb), Claire Maurice (Roger), Ginette Evans (Miles) and Carmen Peddie and sister-in-law Linda Roy.
Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Dr Wilson and home care providers for the exceptional care. A special thank you to her daughter Tina for her loving care in her home.
Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of Laurette’s life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Northern Animals Rescue and Sanctuary in New Liskeard. Online condolences accepted at www.buffamleveille.com.
