Peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Temiskaming District Hospital, Lillian May Hurteau (nee Brown) passed away at the age of 95. Loving wife of John Gore and the late Melvin Hurteau. Beloved mother of Sandra Jelly, Brian (Sandi) Hurteau and step-mother of Virginia McAdam, Kirk (Janet) Gore and Candace (Mike) Conlin. Survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Burgess. Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Russell, Ross Brown and her step son Joseph Gore. Lillian was a proud member of the Branch 54 Ladies Auxiliary for 52 years. A Celebration of Lillian’s life will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 1:00 pm from Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Haileybury.
