Peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Temiskaming Lodge in Haileybury, Lionel Joseph Major of Cobalt passed away at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Aldéa Major (nee Jubinville). Beloved father of Claire (the late Wes) Joy, the late Peggy Hewitt, Rolland (Brenda) Major, the late Andy (Sue) Major, Nancy Wigley and Rita (Mark) Lizotte. Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Rachelle Leveille and Patsy Pacey. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
