Peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, Marcel McMahon of North Cobalt passed away at the age of 72. Loving husband of Réjeanne McMahon (nee Boileau) for 51 years. Beloved father of Josée McMahon (Richard Lee) and Natalie McMahon (Joel Sicard). Survived by his adoring grandchildren Jayden Sicard, Connor Lee, Landon Lee, Avery Lee and Kamryn Lee. Dear brother of Donald (Pauline) McMahon, Diane (Tim) Wadge and Jacqueline McMahon-Wright. Sadly missed by his best friend Ken Snarr. Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents John McMahon and Annette McMahon (nee Brazeau) and his infant brother Henri. Marcel was the proud owner of Marcel’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning from 1987 to 2021. He worked very hard and was proud to serve the people in his community for so many years. Almost every day Marcel would walk into Tim Hortons; always with his cowboy boots on; for some coffee and conversation with his friends. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. Friends will be received on Saturday, April 9th at Buffam Leveille Funeral Home 705-672-3122 from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 am. Interment will take place in Haileybury Catholic Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Community Cancer Care.
