Whittle, Margaret Jean [Wilson] - Passed away peacefully at Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home, Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
Mrs Whittle was born at Cobalt on November 18, 1927 the daughter of the late Robert Wilson and the late Margaret Craig. She was a long standing and devout member of the Haileybury and District Baptist Church. Remembered as someone who embraced everybody, Mrs Whittle had adopted many children as her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents and her husband John Whittle. Left to mourn are her step-daughters: Betty [Patrick] Ward and Kathy [Nyarko] Price; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family thanks Dr Don Davies and the Staff of Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home for the excellent care given.
It was her wish that her body be donated to the Ottawa University Hospital for research. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date when it is safe for everyone to gather.
