Obituary for Murray Robert Taylor

Born on November 25, 1944 in Sturgeon Falls to the late Howard and Alice Taylor, Murray passed away at home on August 5, at age 77.

Murray was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Towns spending his early years in Cobalt before moving to New Liskeard. His entire 33 year working career was dedicated to Rexwood until taking early retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic and made many good friends there.

He enjoyed the outdoors, with countless fishing trips to Lady Evelyn and hunting trips to Matachewan with Johnny and friends. More recently, you’d find him biking for a much enjoyed visit with his coffee buddies.

Predeceased by his parents, brother Don Taylor and sister Helen Laykish, he will lovingly be remembered by his sister Pat Massicotte and brother Evan (Sandra) Taylor, his children Tracy (Ted) McGregor and Trevor Taylor, and his special niece Angie Massicotte. He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Brett McGregor, Emily and Morgan Taylor, and his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

To honour his wishes, there won’t be a service, however condolences and memories can be left on-line at www.buffamleveille.com. Optional expressions of sympathy can be made to a charity of your choice.
