Plante, Normand Charles - It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Normand Plante at the age of 70 years. Mr Plante passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday September 01, 2020 after a short but courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side.

Mr Plante was born in Rouyn Noranda to the late Armand Plante and to the late Louiselle Ayotte. He is the loving husband of Judy Plante [nee Stewart]; loving father of Cindy Welsh [Peter] and David and his wife Sylvie Gravel Plante. He is the cherished grandfather of Zackary, Kurtis, Avary and Kendra. Also surviving are his siblings Jean Guy Plante, Nicole Demers, Gilles Plante, Ghislain Plante as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Norm will also be missed by his furry friend Daisy. He is predeceased by his parents and by his sister Denise Lemire.

Cremation has taken place at Lakeview crematorium, Haileybury. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.
