1937 – 2022
With heavy hearts the family announce the death of Mr Raymond Lemoine of Cobalt at the age of 84 years. Mr Lemoine passed away at Temiskaming Hospital, Friday, January 7, 2022.
Born December 21, 1937 in Lorrain Valley to the late Joseph Lemoine and the late Alexina Gagné. Mr Lemoine had worked at Rexwood for 38 years finishing his career as Plant Manager in 2000. He was an avid golfer and loved all competitive sports. He had been an active member of the Knigths of Columbus and the Cobalt Royal Canadian Legion Branch 44.
Predeceased by his parents and his siblings: Léo, Jackie and Rhéal. Left to mourn is his loving wife of 63 years Armande “Amy” [née Chartrand] whom he married on July 12, 1958. Missed by his sons: Richard [Carolyn] of St Albert, Ronald [Laurie] of Cobalt and Robert [Beverley] of Burlington. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Ryan, Nathan [Sarah], Cherish, Jason [Ashley], Vanessa, Joshua and Jacob; and by eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date when COVID restrictions are eased. Final arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully acknowledged. Memorial contributions and tributes may be left at www.buffamleveille.com
