Peacefully, with his beloved wife by his side, on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the Temiskaming District Hospital, Richard “Mark” Danton of Haileybury passed away at the age of 62. Loving husband of Debbie Danton (nee Auclair) for 13 years, but together for 19 years. Beloved father of Nicole Danton and step-father of Katherine Willett and Joseph Willett. Survived by his grandchildren Colin Meade, Cecilia Meade and step-grandfather to Janikah Willett and Zebadiah Willett. Dear brother of Dave (Marg) Danton and Jessica Danton. Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Sadly missed by his precious Cats; Whisper (Known as “Little Cat”), Nemo, Simba, Nikita, Daenerys and his dogs; Buddy, Mindy, Zoey and the late Sasha and Benji. Predeceased by his parents; John and Jessie Danton, his brothers; John Danton and Bryon Danton as well as his step-son; Joel Danton. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. Friends will be received on Friday, October 14th at Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 483 Broadway Street, Haileybury, 705-672-3122, from 1:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm.
