Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Temiskaming District Hospital, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, Roy Donald “Don” Stewart of West Cobalt Road, Coleman Township passed away at the age of 85. Loving husband of the late Phyllis Marie Stewart (née Smith). Beloved father of Wayne Stewart, Glen (Rizalyn De Vera) Stewart and Betty (Robert) Venne. Survived by his grandchildren Brady (Rebecca) Stewart, Tanner Stewart, Chase Stewart, Haven Venne, Hunter Venne, Arabella Venne and his great grandchild Bellamy Stewart. Dear brother of Barry Stewart (Betty Ann Lacroix) and Denis Stewart. Predeceased by his brother Lloyd Stewart. Sadly missed by his nephew, Joshua Drummond (Stewart). The family would like to thank the staff at the Temiskaming District Hospital for the wonderful care they provided to Don. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 2nd at The Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 629, 68 Empire St, Latchford from 10 am to 2pm.
