Obituary for Victoria Diane "Vicky" Pineau

With broken hearts the family announces the death of Vicky Pineau at the age of 40 years. Vicky died at the Temiskaming Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a long illness on Tuesday August 16, 2022.

Vicky was born on December 2, 1981 to the late Yvon Godin and to the late Lina Presseault. Many will remember Vicky as a woman with a big heart, always putting the needs of others way before her own. She was a social butterfly, always there to help, support and encourage anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on. Vicky battled lung issues for the past four years but always found the strength to be there for her family. She was so proud of her three sons and always looked forward to any time spent with them. Vicky was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her warm and friendly smile will always missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Vicky is survived by her husband and best friend of 22 years Kenny Pineau, her three cherished sons Bailey Pineau, William Pineau and Jack Pineau. She is also survived by her siblings Lynn Godin (Rob Scott) and Nicholas Oshkabewisens as well as her aunts and uncles Noella (Guy) Miron, Yvonne Godin, Jackie Mercier Paquin (Mike), Mike (Donna R) Godin, Annie Presseault (Joel Baril) and George (Crystal) Presseault and many more loving aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her extended family members and friends. Vicky is predeceased by her parents, by her brother Zachary Oshkabewisens, her uncle Armand Godin, her aunt Yvette Peddie and by her grandmothers Lise Presseault and Catherine Godin

A warm and special thank you to Stephanie and Tracy for all the help and encouragement you gave Vicky during her illness. You were always there to do whatever you could. Special thanks also go to family members and to the community for all the support to Vicky during her illness. We will forever be grateful.
