Laporte, Yvan Robert - It is with sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Mr Yvan Laporte of Haileybury, on Sunday October 25, 2020. Yvan died in the comfort of his home at the age of 55 years.
Born in Port Colborne on February 26, 1965 to the late Robert Laporte and to Mrs Therese Giroux. Yvan is survived by his mother; his brothers Andre Laporte and Marc Laporte as well as extended family members and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. There will be no visitations or memorial service. Yvan's ashes will be interred in his father's grave in Port Colborne, ON. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions in Yvan's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
