Obituary for Lucien Albert Dumais
It is with heavy hearts and tremendous sadness that we share the news that our dear sweet father and grandfather, Lucien Albert Dumais, passed away on February 14, 2020.
He completed his final journey peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He is gone to join his beloved wife of 59 years Jeannine Dumais (Roux), his parents Gedeon and Elzire Dumais (Boissonneault), his brother and best friend Laurent Dumais and his dear sister Marie Beauchamp.
We were blessed to have had dad with us for 82 wonderful years. He was an amazing role model who opened his heart and home to others in every way possible, touching so many lives along the way.
We are truly grateful to have had the care and compassion of Dr. Hilary Lawson and the dedicated professionals at the Temiskaming Hospital. We cannot thank you enough.
A celebration of Lucien’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at Waterfront Inn, 2 Cedar Avenue, New Liskeard 705-647-8711 from 1-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, should you wish, memorial donations can be made to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation.
Dad, we will miss your smile, your gentle soul, and the way you made family your purpose and priority. We will always remember, cherish and honour you by carrying on the traditions and celebrations that mean so much to all of us!
We know you will be smiling down on us from heaven Dad.
